I started the trade well, locked in a strong gain, and correctly identified the momentum. The problem came afterward. Instead of being satisfied with the win, I kept going back for more, ignored fading volume, and convinced myself the stock had to keep running.

That is exactly how ego can turn a good trading day into a bad one.
